Synopsis:
There have been several prior depictions on the life and times of Sadguru Sai Baba on celluloid in quite a few languages. This version is one more approach using latest technology and quite a few cinematic liberties. But the underlining concept is the preaching of equality of Sai in a line – Sab Ka Malik Ek.
Performances:
Earlier, there is Vijay Chander who portrayed the role of Sai Baba and lived up to the perfection. There many temples and household which have his getup as the real god picture. His impact as Sai is just as Legend NTR’s Krishna Avatar. But Nagarjuna had given a good performance in the role. He moulded his personality to get in to the skin of the character andthe make up suited perfectly. But the walking style and the depth in the voice made the difference. Whenever, Sai says some thing the real Nagarjuna flashed for a moment.
But his acting in the last 20 minutes in the movie is immaculate. He excelled in the role during that time and created a divine magic with his eyes itself. I can confidently say he is the best in the current generation to portray the role.
Rest – Srikanth as Dasaganu, Sri Hari as Wales, Brahmanandham as Sandeham, Kamalini as Radha Krishna Mai, Shiyaji Shinde as Bhatia, Sharath Babu as Mahalsapathi contributed their parts in limited space.
Technical Performances:
Raghavender Rao is undoubtedly the only director who can deliver Devotional movies near to perfection in the current generation. He had done good job in extracting performances. But the script could have derived more emotions. Somehow, the divinity is not a full meal.He took certain liberties to induce comedy in Dharamavarapu – Shiyaji Shinde episodes but that did not click.
Keeravani’s Back Ground Score and music is the best and is certainly an asset to the movie. And added depth to the movie. Inspite of taking some cinematic liberties, the script work and the dialogues by Parchuri Brothers are good.
Cinematography suited the mood of the story. Graphics work could have been better.
Final Say:
The movie may not be a classic like Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Charitra but is certainly the best remake and portrayal of Baba life the current generation can get. Inspite of few glitches, the makers should be commended for their noble effort to give a devotional movie to this generation with out caring the commercial liabilities involved.

Rebel Telugu Movie Review, Rating
Rating :3.0/5
What Is Good:Prabhas performance, fights, Tamannah skin show with sexy dance moves.
What Is Bad: Direction, Screenplay, Music and Second Half
Boring Scenes: Comedy track between Brahmanandam and Kovai Sarala, Flashback epicsode, Love track of leads
Watch It Or Not ?: Will satisfy Prabhas fans to little extent, doesn't make you feel to watch it twice.
Rebel Review: Story
Film starts with gang of bad guys killing city DSP on a rainy night and Rushi [Prabhas] comes to Hyderabad on a mission of finding Steffen Robins. In this process he goes to Bangkok to get an important clue from Nandhini [Tamannaah] who teaches hip hop dances in a dance skol. She falls in love with Rushi in the mean time but Depali [Deeksha Seth] is love interest of Rushi. What were the reasons which made Rushi come to Hyderabad from Vizak to find Steffen Robins? is Steffen Robins a single person or two individuals ? Will Nandhini win over Deepali to get Rushi’s love? Has to be seen on silver screen
Rebel Review : Star Performances
Prabhas has become a complete director’s actor in this film, he has given the best he can and what story needed from him. Action scenes especially fights were nailed down by him and this film have the best dance moves in his film career. Tamannah was used to fill the glamour quotient and she has successfully done her job to a maximum extent. She has managed to do some emotional scenes well but her dancing skills must get special appreciation. Deeksha Seth role was short & sweet and Rebel star Krishnam Raju is neat & clean with one fight scene specially choreographed for him. Comedians Brahmannandam,Kovai Sarla ,M.S.Naryana and Ali has done a decent work. Mukesh Rushi has given good performance and Pradeep Rawat has also made their mark in this film
Rebel Review : Direction, Music & Technical Aspects
Raghava Lawrence has disappointed with his directional skills in this flick. Slow story narration with not so gripping screenplay and taking more responsibilities on his back has screwed up the entire film. Songs of this film looked good onscreen but when you listen it without video then it’s tasteless. Camera work by C.Ram Prasad and Editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh were just ok ok. Budget of whooping 40 crores spend by the producer is not visual on the big screen
Rebel Review : Analysis
First half of the flick is filled up with Rushi trying to find out who is Steffen Robinson? Where does he stay? How he looks like?. The comedy portion is totally handled by Brahanandam and his few scenes with Kovai Sarala were not good. Tamaanha intro song, little skin shoe by her and Prabhas ultie dances moves in Keka are good. First half of the flick is filled up with Rushi trying to find out who is Steffen Robinson? Where does he stay? How he looks like?. The comedy portion is totally handled by Brahanandam and his few scenes with Kovai Sarala were not good. Tamaanha intro song, little skin show by her and Prabhas ultie dances moves in ‘Keka keka’ are good. Second half is very week with few good fight scenes and boring flashback which shows key roles of Krishnam Raju and Deeksha Seth. Mass song ‘Orinayana ‘which comes 15 minutes before climax is the only savior from that boring flashback, with classy moves n sexy steps from Tamaanaha. Fight sequences which are choreographed by Ram Laxma for last ten minutes in the climax were good .

SURYA'S BROTHERS MOVIE REVIEW - WILL TEST YOUR PATIENCE
Film: Brothers
Starring: Suriya,Kajal Agarwal
Director: K.V. Anand
Producer: Bellamkonda Suresh
Banner: Sri Sai Ganesh Productions
Music: Harris Jayaraj
Rating:3.2/5
Story:
Brothers movie starts off with Rendai Thirige song that introduces Siamese twins Akil and Vimal played by [Suriya] and Anjali [Kajal Agarwal] too. Akhil is a champ and curious in studies, Vimal is a care-free twin. Sachin Khedekar, a researcher cum businessman is the father of conjoined twin [Suirya].
The story continues according the script and Vimal comes to know that his father is a culprit and costs his life. Rest of the Maatran story takes place in the investigation about Vimal’s death, which will be handled by Akhil along with Anjali, who is a Russian translator.
Performances:
Suriya once again proves he’s director’s actor and especially he made audiences spill out as Akil. Brothers pays off Suriya’s hardwork as a conjoined twin, for which he has done 2500 takes.
Kajal Agarwal is glamorous as Anjali and grabs viewers’ attention with the cute looks and voice over by Chinmayi has worked big time, especially as a Russian translator on mission. Sachin Khedekar as a struggling genetic scientist did his parts well.
Technical Analysis:
Coming to the technical assets of Brothers, script by KV Anand and Subha, VFX works by Srinivasa Murthy, dialogues and Harris Jayraj tunes are good. KV Anand direction is good but he has failed to handle the screenplay in the latter half. The first half was lengthy with action sequences.
Cinematographer S Sounder Rajan’s camera works are perfect, as there is no such frame that makes viewers feels Akil and Vimal are not conjoined. Srinivasa Murthy and his VFX works need a special mention, as this is the backbone of Brothers that is the first Indian movie using Motion Capture technology.
Harris Jayraj’s scores are enjoyable as ever, coming to the background music they have well supported the situations. Especially in some scenes they bring audiences get into script well.Anthony might have done the fine editing, as the movie has many uninteresting scenes.
Analysis:
KV Anand’s Brothers appears to be the sequel to AR Murugadoss’s 7th Sense, which deals on saving India from bio-war with China, while Brothers is with Russia.
First half of Brothers is quite appealing despite few long fight sequences. It is packed with humorous conversations of Siamese twins Akil and Vimal, some romance, emotional scenes in the first half leaving some seeds for the investigation in the second half. Suriya is at his best in the film and the makers hardwork in picturing conjoined twins scenes are visible on-screens.
The second half moves from India to Russia, for some investigation by Suriya, who is supported by Kajal Agarwal, a Russian translator. However, KV Anand fails in engaging the audiences in the second half of the film. The post interval episodes are dragging and logic has gone for a toss big time. The climax part is just okay.
Final Verdict:
Brothers – Unique concept with okay execution. Watch it for Suriya’s brilliant performance…
